Wonderful Time!
Saturday July 19th 2008, 2:46 pm

Hi Everyone!

Although the weather didn’t cooperate for canoeing the Chippewa; one of my favorite places in the world…we managed to make lemonade out of lemons.

We toured an authenic Indian village in Lac du Flambeau reservation….it was a two hour tour which we all loved.

Ian swam in the lake at the cottage until he discovered a blood seeking leech that was out to get him.

We went to Wildwood Wildlife Center where Ian and his two senior companions petted skunks, porcupines, and etc. Great fun. And he saw everything from deer, eagles, coyotes, tigers, buffalo…and etc.

The only bit of medical news I have from this week was Dr. Cleary called to tell me they thought it made sense to biopsy a spot in my liver as they can get a better feel for what is going on…..great fun. So they will leave my bones alone.

Love to all,

Betty

Hey, Betty! It’s been awhile since I checked in, and you apparently escaped and spread your wings while I was fiddling around here. Your European trip sounded wonderful, and how nice that you were joined by family. All is well here. Hope you’re managing things well there. A hug for Lars! -Mona
